What are we doing in Topic?

We are currently studying The Environment. Each student is looking at one aspect that interests them. These include - recycling, rainforests, oceans, deserts, wind power, pollution, solar energy. Over the holidays it would be great if the children could spend a little time researching their topic.

This research could occur in many forms-

1. Talking - discuss the topic with someone - even while you are sitting in the airport departure lounge!

2. Looking - look around - can you see something related to your topic.

3. Reading - read about it - books, websites.

4. Viewing - watch shows/movies/DVDs about it.

5. Writing - write down notes about your findings.

6. Sharing - share your notes with someone

7. Ask Questions - write down some questions you want to try and answer.
